Diving :

One of Kosrae's greatest attractions is the clear, clean ocean and living coral reefs that completely surround it. Offshore the coral reefs slope steeply into the clear blue depths. Both vertical drop offs and undulating profiles of cascading corals appear before you as underwater visibility averages 100 feet plus, The reefs comprise hundreds of densely packed coral species, attracting an abundance of marine life. A diver could observe 30 to 50 species of fish in a single dive. Large numbers of turtles inhabit the waters of this island paradise.

We visit Kosrae's best dive sites evert day. Due to the shape of Kosrae, there is always a sheltered side of the island (in case the trade winds blow a little hard). Our dive guides have a wealth of experience and will cater to your every need.

Imagine yourself diving and photographing a sheer vertical wall with hundreds of Pacific barracudas encircling you, or watch the resident spinner dolphins as they jump and spin, seemingly entertaining the curious visitor. If that's not enough, you can explore a WWII Japanese freighter, a 19th century whaling ship, or an American PBY plane, all sunken in Lelu Harbor.

Our dive boat is a 27' purpose-built dive boat with full shade cover and a 250h.p. motor making daily trips (except Sundays) to the best dive sites FAST! We leave the resort at 8.30 a.m. for a two tank dive with lunch on board and return between 2:30 to 3:00p.m. We run drift dives and the boat is waiting at the end of the dive to pick us up, which makes for easy diving.

On board are weights, tanks and a sumptuous lunch which means you can stay all day.

Activities :

Kosrae remains an unblemished garden of flowers and citrus trees. It is a place to explore on foot or by car. While exploring, you can follow a guide up Mt. Omar to visit multiple cascading waterfalls, or WWII Japanese caves hidden in the lush jungles of this island paradise.

From the Kosrae Nautilus Resort you can explore the 15th century Lelu ruins.

Also paddling through the winding mangrove channels in our kayaks is an experience not to be missed.
