Situated along the historic Red Beach, site of one of the greatest naval battles in history, this " Class A Resort " is just a stone's throw away from the MacArthur Landing Memorial.

In 1944, General Douglas MacArthur led the allied attack on the Japanese who had conquered the Philippines years before.The campaign began at this spot, Red Beach, Palo, Letye. This is where Gen. MacArthur made his famous landing, just minutes after the Marines had secured the beach head. It was on this occasion that the famous general made the second half of his famous "I shall return" speech.

Location

MacArthur Park Beach Resort is located within the premises of the Government Center in Candahug, Palo, Leyte; about 20 minutes' drive from Tacloban City, and 15 minutes from the Daniel Romualdez Airport (Tacloban City Airport).

FROM MANILA

• By Air
- Daily flight to Tacloban and Cebu (1 hour and 15 minutes)

• By Sea
- Manila - Cebu by WG&A Ship (approximately 20 hours)
Frequency: Daily except Wednesday and Saturday

• By Land
- Manila to Palo by Philtranco and other bus companies (approximately 20 hours)
Frequency: 5 times daily

From Cebu
- Cebu - Ormoc by Supercat (approximately 2 hours)
Frequency: Daily every 6:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM

Ormoc - MacArthur Park Beach Resort by bus or van (approximately 2 hours)
- Cebu - Tacloban by Cebu Ferries (approximately 6 hours)

• Rates are in US Dollars per room per night, with above indicated inclusions.

• Rates may change without prior notice.
• Booking(s) have to be paid in advance before the check-in date issuance of voucher(s).
• Payment by credit card will be billed upon confirmation of booking.
• Upon receipt of payment, voucher(s) will be faxed or emailed to guest.
