Peacefully nestled in Panglao Island in Bohol, Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa has its own 600-meter white beachfront and sprawling 16-hectare lot. The Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa breathes life into you with its awe-inspiring mountain and superb sea views, exclusive resort-spa amenities, good food and excellent services.

The name Eskaya refers to the only known indigenous people of Bohol. The resort is in Panglao Island which is at the southernmost tip of Bohol. It is located halfway through Panglao along its coast facing Mindanao Sea. It is a sprawling property which covers 16 hectares. Topography of the resort is varied. It has a gradually ascending cliff, flat land, a ravine, caves and has a commanding view of the sea. On the higher ground of the resort, you can view a mountain with lush vegetation. Down the beach is a long stretch of white, powdery sand up to 5 kilometers, 600 meters of which is part of Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa.

The resort is boutique-style which accounts for its exclusivity. Architecture of the building is decidedly Filipino with a splash of modern amenities. The thatched villas or "balai" in the dialect, are single-detached. These are built with sturdy construction materials, but the ample use of indigenous materials for finishing like bamboo, cogon, and wood is emphasized.

The center of attraction of the resort is the infinity swimming pool which definitely blends with the sea at its bluest. The spacious restaurant has a cool feeling, yet with a warm ambience and plenty of sea view and swimming pool view. Dining can also be at the beach al fresco, at the poolside, and in the garden.

Sports activities include beach volleyball, badminton, ping pong (table tennis) and water sports like jet-ski ride, snorkelling, etc. Guests can also play chess or scrabble.

Location

Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa is in Barangay Tawala, located on the north-west part of Panglao Island in the province of Bohol, Philippines.

Via Tagbilaran City from Manila:
You can take a short one-hour plane ride from Manila to Tagbilaran City, the capital of Bohol province. Then, we will take care of the twenty-five minute land travel to the resort.

Via Cebu City's Cebu International Airport in Mactan Island:
From Mactan Island, a ten-minute drive will take you to Cebu seaport; then, the ninety-minute fast ferry-ride to Tagbilaran seaport. From there, we will pick you up for the twenty-five minute land trip to Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa.

Rooms

There are fifteen (15) single-detached beachfront luxury villas, each boasting a luxurious whirlpool bathtub good for 2 persons in an indoor garden setting, a DVD player, I-pod compatible speaker, goose down feather pillows, hypoallergenic 280-thread-count bed sheets, private verandah, complete bath amenities, in-room safe, mini-bar, hairdryer, vanity mirror and three (3) telephone units located on the bedside, on the desk and in the bathroom.

Eleven (11) of these villas have their own private swimming pools. These 11 villas are equipped with 32-inch LCD TV with cable connection. The other four (4) of the 15 villas each has a 29-inch flat screen TV with cable connection.

• Rates are in US Dollars per room per night good for 2 persons, with above indicated inclusions.
• Children 6-12 years old sharing with parents shall be charged 50% off the meal rates. Children 5 years old and below are free of charge. Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa reserves the right to require adults to show proof that their minor companion/s is/are twelve (12) years old and below as it deems necessary.
• These specially discounted internet rates can only be availed if booked and paid through TravelMart; and can not be availed in combination with other promos, except with Travel Advantage Rewards Program.
• Rates may change without prior notice.
• Booking(s) have to be paid in advance before the check-in date and issuance of voucher(s). Unpaid bookings are not guaranteed.
• Payment by credit card will be billed upon confirmation of booking.
• Upon receipt of payment, voucher(s) will be faxed or emailed to guest.
• A wash down or decrease in the original number of rooms/persons reserved/booked shall, to the extent of the decrease in the number of rooms/persons, be considered a cancellation and shall be subject to cancellation charges.
• Any and all cancellations/wash downs must be done through email to bookings@travelmart.net. Any and all wash downs/cancellations on the phone will not be honored.
• If guest fails to show up on check-in/tour day without prior notice to TravelMart, the No-show charges shall be applied.
• One-night rate as Cancellation or No-Show charge includes room charges, meals, tours and other arrangements.
• There shall be no refund for shortened stays including rooms checked-in and checked-out on the same day.
• Check-in time is 2 pm. Check-out time is 12 noon. Should you arrive earlier than expected, please inform us at least on the night prior to your arrival so that we can accommodate you immediately upon arrival if room is available. If you choose not to informs us, we will be glad to store your luggage in the front office. You may stay in the front office where you can browse books and magazines, have lunch in the restaurant, or freshen up in the pool's cabana. Extension beyond specified time shall be subject to an extension fee of fifty percent (50%) off the published (hotel's walk-in and not TravelMart's) room rate.
• Assignment of resort villas shall be at the discretion of the Eskaya Beach Resort & Spa. However, if requests for rooms are received with sufficient advance notice, all efforts shall be made to honor such request.
