Dave's Straw Hat Inn, where we refer to ourselves as an Inn as a way to reflect our small size, attends to your comforts and needs with our family atmosphere. With that said, we offer those amenities that most big Boracay resorts offer without the high prices.

We provide inexpensive Boracay accommodations, with absolutely no skimping on quality and cleanliness. It has been said that we are the best priced hotel on Boracay for what we offer.

Our rates have not increased in 2 1/2 years and our guarantee is that we will do everything possible to keep rates low, quality high.

Location

Dave's Straw Hat Inn is ideally located less than a minute walk to the beautiful Boracay Island "white" beach.

After your visit to Boracay, it will be easy to believe what is often said, that Boracay is a paradise. It is located at the northwestern tip of Panay, Aklan Province in the Philippines. Find out for yourself why Boracay was voted as having one of the best beaches in the world by the BMW Tropical Beach Handbook or why The British Publication TV Quick said that Boracay has the number one tropical beach in the world. Boracay is beautiful, with one of the finest Asian beaches.

How To Get There
All incoming guests will get off the boat usually on Boracay at Cagban from Caticlan. From there, you will take a motorized tricycle to the old Boat Station 3. Once you get to Boat Station 3, walk about 2 minutes along the beach path (ocean on right) until you see our DAVE'S STRAW HAT INN sign at the entrance to the path or above on the post. Turn left, then it's less than a minute walk to your home away from home.

Or, indicate in the reservation form through TravelMart your flight details, and Dave's Straw Hat Inn will be happy to take care of your transfers from the airport to the resort and back. We will have a member of our staff meet you at either Caticlan airport, the Caticlan jetty port or at Boracay Boat Station 3. If you arrive via Kalibo airport, let us know in advance.

Rooms

Our guests have the choice of three types of rooms, which may include air-conditioning, refrigerator and cable television. All rooms are furnished with phones, and have hot and cold water with generator back up.

Fan Cooled Rooms
Fan cooled rooms are complete with hot and cold water, telephone, private security box, and of course a fan. The Inn offers free use of our outdoor cooking facilities.Wireless internet is available for those with their own lap tops.

Standard Rooms
All standard cottages are complete with hot and cold water, cable T.V., telephone, refrigerator, private security box, and A.C. There is a built in trundle pull out bed which allows for 3 to use the room. The Inn offers free use of our outdoor cooking BBQ facilities.Wireless internet is available for those with their own lap tops.

Deluxe Rooms
All deluxe rooms are complete with hot and cold water, cable T.V., telephone, refrigerator, private security box, and A.C. There is a built in pull out trundle bed which allows for 4 to use the room. The Inn offers free use of our outdoor BBQ cooking facilities. Wireless internet is available for those with their own lap tops.

The design of our Inn is unique, including a bit of Bali, a Spanish twist and of course a warm touch of the Philippines. We take all of your needs and safety very seriously, with evening security and all safety and fire regulations closely adhered to.

And, if you want to stay in touch, even though we think you may prefer to just rest and relax during your escape, we also offer internet access either in our internet room or a wireless option from your room or our patio. Our newest addition is a free book exchange for our guests and a nominal fee for non-guests.

Our services are "personalized," without the service charges that you may have to pay at other resorts; to assist you from the time that you first contact us through when you check-out and beyond, if necessary.

Terms and Conditions

• Rates are in US Dollars per room per night, with above mentioned inclusions. * Children of all ages are counted as a person for occupancy of rooms.
• These specially discounted internet rates can only be availed if booked and paid through TravelMart; and can not be availed in combination with other promos, except with Travel Advantage Rewards Program.
• Rates may change without prior notice.
• Booking(s) have to be paid in advance before the check-in date and issuance of voucher(s). Unpaid bookings are not guaranteed.
• Payment by credit card will be billed upon confirmation of booking.
• Upon receipt of payment, voucher(s) will be faxed or emailed to guest.
• A wash down or decrease in the original number of rooms/persons reserved/booked shall, to the extent of the decrease in the number of rooms/persons, be considered a cancellation and shall be subject to cancellation charges. During super peak holiday seasons, a partial cancellation of days of stay, once booked and/or paid may result in full reservation being cancelled. In other words, if you book 5 nights during a holiday period or super peak season, and decide to cancel 3 nights during this period, we reserve the right to cancel the full reservation. Refund policies, as described, apply.
• Any and all cancellations/wash downs must be done through email to bookings@travelmart.net. Any and all wash downs/cancellations on the phone will not be honored.
• Check-in time is 1:30 pm. Check-out time is 12 noon.

Booking and Cancellation Policy and Charges

• Guests who show up with more than the stated number of persons allowed per room occupancy, will either have to book another room if available or use room as stated per occupancy.

Refund Policies
• No refunds will be made for guests who are asked to leave or do so on their own due to more than allowed in a room.
• No refunds for guests who don't show up or decide not to stay at Dave's Straw Hat Inn for any reason.
• Refunds can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival date.
• No refunds if less than 30 days.
• With that said, we will first try to rent your room. If we do rent the room you will get your deposit at the rate which the room was rented up to the amount you paid. It could be less due to negotiated walk-in rates to get the room rented. If we are unable to book the room or rent the room, your full deposit or payment will be forfeited for the dates we can't get the room rented.
• Where a refund is made, credit card processing fees or bank charges and runner fees will be deducted from the refund.
