Dining Facilities

Igmaan, or "eating place", serves authentic home-style Ilonggo dishes. Mouthwatering charbroiled meats or fish are served on a native banana leaf-lined plate. The taste is purely and truly Ilonggo comfort-food.

Ilonggo favorites include:
- Sinugbang Baboy (charbroiled pork)
- Chicken Inasal (barbequed chicken)
- Grilled fishes: Bangrus (Milk Fish), Bulgan (Sea Bass), Tilapia, Lapu-lapu
- Kinilaw nga Tangigue (raw Spanish Mackarel in a vinegar-calamansi mix)
- Sizzling Scallops
- Sinigang (tamarind soup)

Ilonggos especially love eating their food outdoors, close to nature (like at the beach) and where they can feel the breeze on their skin. Most claim food tastes more delicious that way. Elegantly native, Igmaan is a shed without walls -- giving you and your family the outdoor dining experience without really being, well, outdoors.

Cafe del Prado
The coffee shop is a local favorite for those "not-so-secret" rendezvous, quiet times with a cup of coffee, or simply eavesdropping on local tsismis. A sign on the wall reads an old Spanish saying: A good coffee is black as the devil, hot as hell, pure as an angel, and sweet as love.

We're told the coffee shop serves the best breakfast buffet in town each morning. Try it with our Del Rio Blend coffee that has been raved about by both locals and visitors. And since the Café Del Prado is never closed for private parties, it's the place to satisfy those unexpected cravings for Hotel Del Rio's most popular dishes and specials. Try our:

Cakeworks
A lot of the pastries and cakes of Postres come from a very special place. CakeWorks' Yvonne Villaluna-Caacbay is the artist behind the masterpieces. Her creations are simply works of art. She is best known for creating delicately-crafted custom-made cakes that often reflect the personalities, and even the images, of her clients. She specializes in cakes for all occassions including birthdays, baptisms, graduations, anniversaries, and more.

Plazoleta Gay
The name Plazoleta Gay (pronounced "plazoleta guy") pays homage to an Iloilo City district that was named in honor of a family ancestor. In spite of the historical tie, this resto-bar has a young and trendy vibe. Plazoleta's menu is a constantly fluid, evolving fusion of Continental dishes, always fresh, new, adventurous, and delicious.

Flow
Flow is managed by Hotel Del Rio, Inc. and is located on Benigno Aquino Highway. It is one of the top ten bars in the Visayas, receiving the pretigious Philippine Marketing Excellence Award. It is the hottest night spot in town for Iloilo's In-crowd. The food is an exciting fusion of Mediterranean-Asian cuisine. • Booking(s) have to be paid in advance before the check-in date and issuance of voucher(s). Unpaid bookings are not guaranteed.
• Payment by credit card will be billed upon confirmation of booking.
• Upon receipt of payment, voucher(s) will be faxed or emailed to guest.
• A wash down or decrease in the original number of rooms/persons reserved/booked shall, to the extent of the decrease in the number of rooms/persons, be considered a cancellation and shall be subject to cancellation charges.
• Any and all cancellations/wash downs must be done through email to bookings@travelmart.net. Any and all wash downs/cancellations on the phone will not be honored.
• If guest fails to show up on check-in/tour day without prior notice to TravelMart, the No-show charges shall be applied.
