• Tam-an - It is a typical Ifugao village located about 240 steps down from the hotel's swimming pool. People here still live the lifestyle of their ancestors long gone. Interesting to see are the bones of their ancestors bundled, preserved and wrapped in colorful, hand woven blankets. The villagers produce wood carvings and beads for sale to tourists.
• Bocus - About 150 steps uphill from the Immaculate Concepcion High School. Boasts of interesting huts adorned with heads and horns of carabaos and skulls of wild pigs. These ornaments reveal the economic status of the families. The more decorations the house has, the wealthier the family. The villagers keep the sacred rice idol, BULOL, in a rice granary. BULOL is exposed only during harvest time that calls for a lengthy rite of bathing the idol with the blood of animals. Visitors may see and photograph the idol only with the consent of the owner.
• The Village of Poitan - Poitan boasts of a community of magnificently lined Ifugao huts on mountain slopes where the legendary "Stone Post", protected and idolized by the village people, and the dug-in pit lined with stones where the elders gather to discuss problems during famine and carvers can also be seen in the village.

• Hapao Rice Terraces - These are one of a few extensive, stone-walled terraces built centuries ago. It is believed that it is where the terrace culture of the Ifugao originated. They are located nine kilometers from Poblacion Hungduan
• Village of Banga-an - For those who cannot make the two-hour hike to Batad, the Village of Banga-an is an attractive alternative to idle one's hours away because of its fascinating environs. On summer afternoons, rainbows display their hues against the setting sun at the horizon. It is 2 kilometers farther from Batad Junction.
• Amphitheater Rice Terraces of Batad - The trip to Batad takes practically the whole day and is recommended only to strong hikers. From Banaue, Batad is approximately 16 kilometers.
