Club Noah has a
vision of Man and Nature living together in harmony. Isabelle,
the first Club Noah-owned resort, is a model-case for eco-tourism.
We like to think of it as returning to the essentials of life.
These essentials--beauty, adventure, sustenance, harmony and
romance - are the things that modern life has left behind. Just
as now we are rediscovering the importance of the environment,
Club Noah is a return to the essentials of life. Here, you can
relax and unwind from the stress of work, get away for a romantic
weekend, or experience the adventures that you've always dreamed
about. Step onto our shores and discover that it's so much more:
a place to discover what is truly important, a dream of what
the world can be, a true return to what is essential.
At Club Noah, we provide you with everything essential in life.
Find out how our resort is intertwined with nature in our unique
Facilities. Check out our sumptuous Cuisine and discover all
the different Bars and Restaurants you can visit at Club Noah.
Here, you'll rarely ever eat a meal in the same place twice.
Club Noah is only
a short plane ride and boat ride away. It is a trip unlike any
you will ever make.
The Plane Ride
Your return to life's essentials begins with a 90 minute plane
ride from Manila. From here you will already know that this
is a journey that is unlike any you will ever take. Perhaps
it is the gentle, professional service of the crew, or the air
of anticipation that fills the plane. The city recedes quickly,
and you will know, whether this is your first trip or one among
many, that you are returning to a better place.
As the plane descends from cloud cover, the first glimpse of
the islands near Palawan quickens the heartbeat. At the same
time, the sight of the unspoilt beauty of these islands silences
you with awe.
The Landing
The plane lands at Cesar Lim Rodriguez Airport, not far from
the town of Sandoval. From here, the resort is two rides away:
a short jeepney ride and a boat ride. Take some time to relax
and enjoy some refreshments. We believe in what one writer once
said, "Introduce yourself gradually into the regions of
delight." Your journey to Club Noah is as much to be enjoyed
as your stay there.
From the airport, a ten-minute jeepney ride brings you to Tamisan
Jetty where you will board the boat that will take you to Club
Noah. The jeepney is a typical mode of transportation in the
Philippines. It dates back to the 40's when surplus American
army jeeps were cut up, elongated and used as passenger vehicles.
Today, Japanese surplus engines are installed and the body is
hanpainted and boldly decorated to give the Jeepney its unique
Philippine character. If you're brave enough, you can ride on
the roof as the locals do, but watch out for low-hanging branches.
The jeepney ride takes you into a 5,000 hectare valley full
of bamboo groves. Catch a glimpse of rural life on the Philippines'
"last frontier". You will pass by farms of rice and
corn, as well as plantations of cashew and coconuts. Along the
way, you will also see water buffaloes, the farmers' friendly
beast of burden.
The ten-minute ride ends with the Jeepney entering a typical
tropical coconut plantation. Coconut trees as high as 10 meters
tall bear bunches of coconuts - a fruit that is said to have
101 uses. From the husk to the juice, nothing is wasted by the
people of these islands.
With the whole
island as your home, think of your water cabaña as your
very own private place. Though you are welcome to sleep anywhere
on the island, there's nothing quite like a soft bed, an air
conditioned room and the sound of the waves to lull you to sleep.
The resort has a total of fifty cabañas. Each cabaña
is situated over the water, connected to land by a short walkway.
Fish use the shallow water as nurseries, so the waters are teeming
with life. Occasionally, harmless baby sharks have been spotted
feeding on the fish under the cabañas. Each cabaña
also has its own balcony where you can sit back and relax with
all the luxuries of room service.
Cabañas 1 to 16 line the east side of the cove, and 17
to 30 line the west side. These are single storey huts that
can accommodate a maximum of three occupants. The view from
the balcony of these cabañas overlooks Taytay bay.
Cabañas 31 to 50 are duplex-style split levels that are
ideal for families. Two single beds occupy the first floor while
twin semi-double beds are on the second. In these cabañas
you have all the room you need for excited children bouncing
off the walls, or for all your friends. The view from these
cabañas faces the west, so every evening, you're in for
a treat when the sun sets.
All the duplex-style cabañas have stairs that lead straight
into the sea. You don't need to go the Pier or to Puesto del
Sol to go snorkeling. You can do so right in front of your own
cabaña!
The following are also available in your rooms:

to the Front Desk

Dining facilities include the following restaurants and bars:
Tropicana
Restaurant
Tropicana is the center of Club Noah and the largest
structure you will find in the cove. Aside from being the main
dining area, it is also the complex that houses the Front Desk,
Club Shop, and the Multi-Purpose Hall. Here, you will enjoy
countless feasts and musical performances, and perhaps even
spend a few quiet evenings over drinks, while listening to soothing
music played live. Every morning, a breakfast feast at the Tropicana
begins your day in Club Noah.
Serena Bar
During your stay in Club Noah, you will get to know the Serena
Bar quite well. Being right beside the Pier, you can't miss
it. Here, guests meet and are briefed prior to activities outside
the island, like fishing, scuba diving or cave exploration.
It is also an ideal place to unwind after an exciting afternoon
spent island hopping. If you've just come from the water, our
staff will offer you a towel to dry off, and a relaxing cup
of coffee to unwind. You can even feed the many-colored fish
that hang around the Pier.
Serena means "mermaid" in the vernacular. It is also
a name used by some to refer to the dugong, which in olden times
were often mistaken by sailors to be mermaids. From the Serena
Bar you will venture into the many wonders of the sea. Perhaps,
if you're lucky, you might even see mermaids.
El Capitan Bar
Think of a pub and drop it on a white sand beach dotted with
palm trees. That's El Capitan, the perfect place to enjoy a
pint. El Capitan serves all kinds of beverages. (Click here
for a complete listing.) Name a cocktail, and our bartender
can whip it up for you. And just like any pub, you can play
billiards, darts, and board games. To get your blood really
pumping, there's also table tennis. In place of sporting events
on TV, you can watch a match of beach volleyball live. You'll
find the court a few meters from the bar.
If you're looking for a challenge, try inviting one of our staff
for a game of 8-ball. But be warned: they've spent years perfecting
their game.
By night, the El Capitan Bar is the center of Club Noah. From
your cabaña, follow the distant sound of laughter and
lively music until it becomes a wild explosion of celebration
and life, and you'll be sure to find yourself in El Capitan.
Rock Bar
Up 109 rough-hewn stone steps is the Rock Bar. Though the climb
is no mean feat, it is definitely worth it. The Rock Bar overlooks
the entire cove, and the view is simply breathtaking. You will
be able to see everything from the gumamela bushes on the slope
of the hill to the cabañas on either side of the cove
to the sunbathers on the beach to the windsurfers on the gentle
sea.
By night, the view transforms into a wonderland of light and
magical darkness. For those looking for an experience different
from the exuberance of El Capitan Bar, a round or two (or three)
at the Rock Bar is definitely not to be missed.
Café Isabel (Water Restaurant)
One hundred meters from the nearest shore on the west side of
Apulit Island is Café Isabel. Resting on columns above
the sea, it offers a truly unique dining experience as if one
were dining at sea. It also offers a breathtaking view. Watch
the sunset from this ideal location. It is the stuff that romantic
movies are made of. Bring a loved one. The experience is best
when shared.
During the day Café Isabel is also a favorite among sun-worshippers.
You'll find them on the 250 square meter veranda waited on by
our attentive staff.

Other Facilities
The Southern Cross
The Southern Cross can be seen from virtually anywhere on the
island and the surrounding seas. Its name has seafaring roots--christened
after the constellation responsible for saving the lives of
sailors by providing them with direction from the night sky.
The cross also serves as a lighthouse to many fishermen in Taytay
Bay who get lost during storms at sea. Finally, the Southern
Cross provides a unique identity to Club Noah, representing
peace, love, dreams and adventure.
Octagon
At the end of a leisurely stroll along the 180-meter east catwalk
is the Octagon. This facility is used by many as a view deck,
as a place for sunbathing, or as a launching point for snorkelers
to reach the first fish feeding station. On some occasions,
private weddings and cocktail parties are also held here.
Puesto del Sol
The View Deck
The View Deck is a great place where amateur and professional
photographers can find a breathtaking view of the resort. At
the base of the steps one can also view the smallest and most
endangered deer in the world--the Mouse Deer.
Grotto
The Grotto is a natural cave that was first explored by the
Club Noah staff. It has since been transformed into a grotto
where a statue of the Virgin Mary can be found. As the first
structure that was built by the resort staff, it shows how they
put God first in everything they do. It is the perfect place
to spend a few moments in prayer or meditation.
Cove Garden
Tropical palms, white sand, beach beds for beach bums: this
is Cove Garden. The entire 120 meter beachhead of Cove Garden
provides the perfect mix of sun and shade for sun worshippers.
Wade in the clear, blue waters, or build a sandcastle. Cove
Garden is your playground.
Cove Garden is also the most convenient place to launch a snorkeling
expedition into the Island Cove. Canoe and kayak expeditions
may also be launched from here, and it's a great place to try
out windsurfing.
Jacuzzi Pool
After an invigorating swim, head off to Jacuzzi Pool, the perfect
place to rinse the salt off your body and cool off. Take your
time and enjoy a drink.
Pavilion
The Pavilion is a 100 square meter open area in the Cove Garden
which can be used for absolutely any purpose. It is among the
first buildings you will see as incoming guests are welcomed
here. If you're into arts and crafts, Ceramic painting classes
are held here too.
Marine Sports Center
This is the place to visit when you want to go on any kind of
marine activity. No visit to Club Noah is complete without trying
at least one of our available marine sports. At the Marine Sports
Center, you can borrow snorkeling and scuba equipment.
The snorkeling gear you borrow is yours for your entire stay
at Club Noah to allow you go snorkeling whenever the whim strikes
you.
The following equipment are available:
Windsurf boards, kayaks and canoes are available on a first-come-first-served
basis.
M/Y Noah
Often perched at the southern cove is the majestic M/Y Noah,
a motor yacht which offers guests the opportunity to view the
island resort from a different point of view. This facility
offers a rest place for swimmers exploring the reef system around
the cove. Later in the day the deck offers a vantage point to
watch the sun set or the moon rise.
Clinic
Located east of Tropicana, the clinic houses the staff responsible
for safeguarding the health needs of guests. It is manned by
two professional nurses 24 hours a day, 7 seven days a week.
In case of emergencies that cannot be handled on the island,
arrangements are made with the District Hospital at Taytay,
the Provinical Hospital at Puerto Princesa, or the Makati Medical
Center in Metro Manila.
