that each guest feels upon approaching the island. The resort
is esconced in a cove, and its 31 rooms are made up of different
types of cottages. There are water cottages built on stilts
over the water, garden cottages surrounded by tropical flowers
and cliff cottages nestled on the hillside. There are also seaview
rooms with an adjoining verandah, directly overlooking the sea.
Right off the pier, guests can feed exotic tropical fish. The
spectacular Big and Small lagoons beauty of El Nido is underwater.
Choose from more than a dozen snorkeling sites on or about the
island. Enjoy a wide variety of water sports, as well as island
tours arranged by the resort.
El Nido Resort is in Miniloc Island, which is on the north-west side of El Nido bay.
How to get to El Nido Resort Miniloc Island
The fastest and
most direct way to get to El Nido is from Manila. Island Transvoyager
Inc. operates daily flights to El Nido for El Nido Resorts using
a 19-seater Dornier 228 aircraft. The flight takes a maximum
of one hour and thirty minutes and lands directly at El Nido
Airport. Flight reservations may be made through TravelMart.net Reservations.
At El Nido Airport, guests are met by resort staff and transferred
to a motorized outrigger boat for a scenic 40-minute ride to El Nido Resort
Miniloc Island.
Miniloc Island Resort has a total of 43 rooms. Like Lagen Islands Resort, it has a variety of accommodation styles to choose from. There are Water Cottages and Seaview Rooms built on stilts, Garden Cottages and Family Cottages surrounded by tropical plants, Cliff Cottages nestled in the hillside and Beachside Rooms right in front of the beach.
The cottages and rooms at Miniloc Island Resort are built with thatched roofs and furnished with indigenous Filipino materials. The local flavor extends to the cottages and rooms from the wooden floors and walls made of woven bamboo slats (locally called sawali) to furniture hand-made from natural materials such as bamboo and rattan. All cottages and rooms are air-conditioned and have a mini bar, a hair dryer and private toilet, shower facilities and private verandahs that offer views of the cove and the nearby islands.
The decor and interiors of these Cottages use native Filipino materials and create an ambiance of being in nature. The balconies are the perfect place for romantic interludes or being at peace with the surroundings.

The Beachside Rooms are built in two-level clusters of four, and are located right on the beach adjacent to the Garden Cottages. All rooms are furnished with charming indigenous Filipino materials, and features standard rooms amenities of air-conditioning, mini bar, hair dryer, private verandah, and IDD & NDD telephone service.

The new Deluxe Seaview Rooms located in a two-level cluster located beside the Seaview Rooms, opened on October 2008. Child Rate: • Children 2-6 years old on Holiday Package arrangement shall be extended complimentary meals from the buffet. Ala carte orders will be charged accordingly.
• Children 7-11 years old sharing room with at least one adult Holiday Package arrangement shall be charged Child Supplement of US$ 50 nett per night. Child rate is inclusive of 3 full board meals, use of resort facilities, boat transfers, regular activities, taxes and service charge.
• Children 12 years old and above are considered adults and shall be charged applicable adult rates on Holiday Package arrangement. Should a separate room be requested for children without any adult sharing the room, one adult shall assume the single Holiday Package adult rate.
Airfare and Flight Schedule (via El Nido Resorts' ITI chartered flights):
Access to El Nido from Manila is via chartered flights from Island Transvoyager Inc. (ITI). The regular aircraft used is a 19-seater Dornier with a flight time of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Airfare to/from El Nido:
Adult (12 years old and above): PHP 4,500 ++ per way, subject to prevailing surcharge and VAT
Child (2-11 years old): PHP 3,150 ++ per way, subject to prevailing surcharge and VAT
Infant (below 2 years old): Prevailing surcharge, subject to VAT
• Airfares are valid for flights operated by Island Trans-voyager Inc. (ITI) and arranged by El Nido Resorts.
• Airfares are subject to prevailing surcharge at the time of booking. Applicable surcharge includes terminal fees, use of private passengers' lounge with complimentary refreshments, insurance fee, aviation fee and fuel surcharge; and may change without prior notice. (As of this date, surcharge is PHP 1,600 per way.)
• 12% VAT shall be applied to total of airfare and applicable surcharge.
• Guests are entitled to 10 kg of luggage including hand-carry.
• Excess luggage will be charged PHP 70 per kg, inclusive of VAT, and loading is subject to space availability and aircraft load capacity.
• ITI may offload luggage in the event of aircraft overloading but shall send these to the resort via the next available flight.
• Check-in counter at ITI closes 15 minutes prior to departure. Gate at El Nido Airport closes 30 minutes prior to departure. Guests arriving after this cut-off may no longer be allowed entry at the gates.

Private roundtrip boat transfer:
Guests requiring private boat transfers outside our regular airport boat shuttle shall be charged compulsory private boat transfer rate of PHP 6,000 ++ for 1-5 persons, and PHP 1,000 ++ per additional person, subject to 10% service charge and 12% VAT. Guests arriving/departing on flights other than Island Transvoyager or on other arrangements have option to wait at El Nido Airport and join our regular airport boat shuttle at no extra charge. Please check with Reservations Department regarding boat shuttle schedule on particular arrival/departure dates.

Private Dining
Private dining set-up fee ranging from PHP 1,000 ++ to 3,000 ++ per person shall be charged on top of meal selection for private dinner arrangements depending on location. Not applicable for buffet.
New Year's Eve Supplement:
We will be charging a New Year's Eve Supplement of PHP 1,500 ++ per adult to our in-house guests on New Year's Eve. With this one-time compulsory charge, guests will be able to enjoy an upgraded menu, a glass of Methode Champenoise, fireworks, entertainment, and a gift to welcome the New Year.
Conservation Fee:
All visitors to El Nido, 12 years old and above, are required by law to pay a conservation fee of P20.00 per person per night or a maximum of P200.00 for stays of more than 10 nights. Fees collected will be used by the Protected Area Management Board in the management, maintenance and administration of the El Nido Protected Area. These may be settled at the El Nido Resort.
Terms and Conditions
• Rates are in US Dollars per room per night, inclusive of taxes, service charge and above mentioned inclusions.
• These specially discounted internet rates can only be availed if booked and paid through TravelMart; and can not be availed in combination with other promos.
• Rates may change without prior notice.
• Booking(s) have to be paid in advance before the check-in date and issuance of voucher(s). Unpaid bookings are not guaranteed.
• Payment by credit card will be billed upon confirmation of booking.
• Upon receipt of payment, voucher(s) will be faxed or emailed to guest.
• A wash down or decrease in the original number of rooms/persons reserved/booked shall, to the extent of the decrease in the number of rooms/persons, be considered a cancellation and shall be subject to cancellation charges.
• Any and all cancellations/wash downs must be done through email to bookings@travelmart.net. Any and all wash downs/cancellations on the phone will not be honored.
• If guest fails to show up on check-in/tour day without prior notice to TravelMart, the No-show charges shall be applied.
• One-night rate as Cancellation or No-Show charge includes room charges, meals, tours and other arrangements.
• There shall be no refund for shortened stays including rooms checked-in and checked-out on the same day.
• A Rebooking Fee of US$ 3 per person applies to any and all revisions after payment/finalization of booking/s.
• Check-in time is 2 pm. Check-out time is 12 noon.
